Microbiome
KyberKompakt
A complete picture of your gut microbiome.
- Quantifies viable bacteria (CFU/g)
- Classifies yeasts and molds
- Recommended after antibiotics and inflammation
A test that qualifies and quantifies the main bacterial groups of the gut microbiome, beneficial or pathogenic, identifying the number of viable bacteria per gram of stool and classifying them as immunomodulatory, protective and proteolytic.
What the test analyzes
KyberKompakt identifies the number of viable bacteria (CFU/g) per gram of stool, classified into three major groups: immunomodulatory, protective and proteolytic. As a complement, it also classifies yeasts and molds, when present in the sample.
This test is formally recommended after antibiotic therapy, intestinal inflammatory processes, allergies, recurring infections and vaginosis.
What the microbiome can reveal
The test distinguishes the gut bacteria, which show immense diversity. Scientific research reports, for example, that the microbiome may reveal whether a person is more likely to gain or lose weight: gut bacteria take part in the feeling of fullness, helping to explain why some people need to eat more to feel satisfied or eat even when they're not hungry.
The relationship between the microbiome profile and the risk of chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure, diabetes and other metabolic problems, has also been established.
Clinical application
- Gut modulation with specific probiotics and prebiotics
- Treatment of dysbiosis, bloating and changes in bowel habits
- Support for immunity and recovery after antibiotics
- Weight loss strategies based on the bacterial profile
